GASTROLUX WARRANTY
Your GASTROLUX cookware is guaranteed not to crack, peel or blister for twenty (20) years from the date of purchase. The warranty is from the date of purchase, of which the first 5 years are at no cost except shipping charges. The residual warranty, meaning between the sixth and the twentieth year of the purchase date, replaced product will be charged a prorated cost of 1/20th of the purchase price per year since the date of purchase. A minimum residual warranty cost will apply in cases where excessive residue buildup has occurred due to lack of maintenance.
Replacement or repair does not extend the current or begin a new warranty. The warranty does not cover damage or destruction caused by misuse, abuse, accident, overheating, alteration or commercial use. This includes stains, discolorations, scratch marks, dents, or scratches caused by metallic utensils. However, these scratches will not affect the non-stick properties of your cookware.
GASTROLUX cookware that has lost its non-stick property due to baked in food residue or from lack of maintenance, will not be replaced under warranty, a minimum residual warranty cost will apply.
Glass lids are not covered under warranty except for heat damage.
Gastrolux cookware that has been purchased through E-Bay, or any unauthorized Gastrolux representative, will NOT be covered under the warranty program. Failure to provide a receipt of purchase due to the above may be subject to a rejection of warranty.
The procedures for a warranty claim are as follows: If you purchased your cookware in the past 24 months, please contact Active Concepts by email at: contact@activeconcepts.ca or by calling 403-689-3360 to discuss a claim. If it was purchased beyond 24 months from today, please call 877-321-4605 to discuss your claim.
If GASTROLUX has to replace an item that is no longer available, GASTROLUX will replace the item of equivalent or superior value.
GASTROLUX reserves the right to refuse the warranty on any products that have not been maintained in accordance with the maintenance instructions. |
